Susan and I are planning a trip to NYC in the coming weeks and in preparation I wanted to buy some new clothes. As some of you know I have a love for food and my life has a certain lack of exercise right now so I'm a bit more on the heavy side. "Fat belly" as my kids enduringly call me (it's not cute).
But we heavy people like to look fashionable too, so tonight I did a google search for heavy men's fashion. The first article I open started with this:
"The best way to look great in the long-term when you’re overweight is to lose excess weight with the help of a proper diet and exercise program. Once you start dropping pounds, your clothes will fit better and your confidence will increase along with your motivation to try new fashions and styles.
"Since there’s no reason to put off looking good until you reach your goal weight, we’ve put together a few fashion tips to help you make the most of your large body type and create a slimmer-looking physique."
Really? Like I didn't already know that? Or think of that everyday I get dressed. Ha. Maybe I'll start starving myself for the next coupled of days before we go.
